Company Lends Expertise of 1,000 Tax Pros to Answer Tax Questions Online

KANSAS CITY, MO--(Marketwire - February 1, 2010) - Along with new calendars, resolutions and football playoffs, January and February bring something many Americans dread: tax time. As taxpayers start receiving W-2s, collecting receipts and organizing tax documents, confusion often sets in. This free service is available to assist people during tax season with the quick answers and accurate direction they need. More than 43,000 answers have already been provided in response to consumer questions. And, knowing people are bound to have tax-related issues like a move, job change or birth of a child after April 15, the H&R Block service will be available year-round so tax questions can be addressed when they happen.

The Get It Right(SM) Community hosts the service and leverages the expertise of H&R Block tax professionals nationwide. Responding tax professionals represent a breadth of expertise and are committed to providing answers in plain English to avoid further confusing consumers with tax jargon. Questions can be submitted via computer or iPhone through the H&R Block Tax Answers App. Most will be answered within 24 hours. Tax calculators, an office locator and access to useful widgets and other tax preparation tools are also available through the Get It Right(SM) Community.
