Israel Economic Mission to Canada Welcomes Israeli Technology Companies to Toronto

Israeli ICT companies set sites on expansion in Canada

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 11, 2009) - The office of the Israel Economic Mission to Canada is pleased to announce that a delegation of six Israeli technology companies will be visiting Toronto from June 15th-18th. The companies will be meeting with Canadian telecom service providers and local integrators in order to present their innovative wireless solutions. The Israeli companies are seeking to explore mutual business opportunities as they continue to focus on Canada as a strong growth market.

This is the second year that an Israeli delegation will participate in the Canadian Telecom Summit taking place at the Toronto Congress Centre from June 15th to June 17th as the only foreign delegation bringing to Canada new solutions and innovations.

During the Canadian Telecom summit, Mr. Michael Lazaridis President & Co-CEO of RIM, will be presented with recognition on behalf of Israel's Minister of Science & Technology, for his continued support in forging links with Israel's advanced technology industry.
