Its official: more than 5 inches of snow fell in Montreal

Thousands of Quebecers to get trips for free from itravel2000 in Let it Snow Promotion

Toronto, which received the second highest amount of snowfall measured in at 9.4cm, falling short of the 12.7cm or 5 inches required as the minimum amount of snow to qualify.

The other two snow points, Halifax and Calgary measured minimal to no amounts of snow, with 0.8cm and 0.0cm respectively but did not qualify.

itravel2000 passengers that have qualified will be contacted directly to arrange refunds for their trips under the terms and conditions of the contest.

If it snowed more than 5 inches on January 1st, 2008, consumers will be reimbursed for the retail price of their package vacation, flight or hotel upon their return. To be eligible, Canadians had to have booked their qualifying package vacations, hotel or flight by midnight December 7th, 2007 for departures up to April 30, 2008.
