Consumer Products Industry Veteran Will Lead Sales & Marketing Team

WHITE PLAINS, NY--(Marketwire - October 16, 2007) - Consumer rebate service provider DataMatrix Promotions today announced the appointment of Jerry Weiss to serve as the company's Director of Sales and Marketing. Weiss is a 25-year veteran of consumer product sales, marketing, management and consulting on both the manufacturing and retail sides with brands ranging from Mattel to Magellan, Sharp, Sony, TEAC and Toshiba.

Weiss is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic sales, marketing and management plan for DataMatrix's new high-speed, turnkey consumer rebate service for consumer products manufacturers, retailers and wholesale distributors. The DataMatrix program can get rebate checks into consumers' hands in four weeks, significantly faster than the industry's typical eight-to-ten-week turnaround time. This is accomplished through advanced technology and a vertically integrated in-house process that uses no outsourcers or subcontractors. The faster processing reduces fulfillment costs for rebate sponsors as well as helping build repeat business by establishing positive consumer relationships.

The DataMatrix program spans the complete rebate lifecycle from strategic planning and graphic design of rebate offers to high-speed scanning, data entry, data reporting, rebate processing, call center services, rebate fulfillment, and data management and mining.
