KARE 11 Continues Ratings Success With Key Demographic Groups

MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwire - December 21, 2007) - A tradition of ratings success continued for KARE 11 News with the release by Nielsen Media Services of demographic analysis of the recently completed November ratings sweeps.

KARE 11 was the clear winner of the morning and the 10 p.m. news shows. At 6 p.m., KARE tied for the top spot. KARE also made a strong showing at 5 p.m.

"We feel good about these numbers," said John Remes, president and general manager of KARE 11. "They show us that whatever the season and despite network fluctuations, we have a large core audience that will seek us out for their news and information," he added. "Our goal has always been to be that source and that won't change."
