KOCH Records Renews Deal With JVC Victor for Japan

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - December 6, 2007) - KOCH Records announces the renewal of its existing Japanese licensing deal with JVC Victor for three more years.

Victor Entertainment, Inc. (JVC Victor) is a major-independent record company wholly owned by Victor Company of Japan, Ltd. (known as "JVC" in international market). Founded in 1972, with its strength to produce hits in both international and domestic repertoire throughout the years in business, JVC Victor has always been one of the top record labels in the Japanese market. JVC Victor is considered as one of the best distribution companies in the industry for both audio and video products, with its sales force maintained in 5 sales and marketing branches nationwide (Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka and Sapporo).

The most recent releases with JVC Victor have included urban releases by 2Pac "Beginnings" and "NuMixx Klazzics 2," Joell Ortiz "The Brick," KRS-One & Marley Marl "Hip Hop Lives," DJ Khaled "We the Best," and UNK "Beat N' Down Yo Block." Other releases include Circus Diablo, Sinead O'Connor "Theology," and Afro Samurai featuring RZA.

The first major KOCH title in 2008 that will be released by JVC Victor is the new album from Foxy Brown.
