NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 26, 2006 -- Singing-songwriting siren KT Tunstall stopped viewers in their tracks last Friday, January 20, with her momentous U.S. television debut, performing her hit single "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree" on NBC's "Today" Show. If you missed it, KT's performance is now available for free video download at Apple's iTunes Music Store. This marks the first time that iTunes has offered a musical performance from the "Today" Show.

Fans can download KT's striking, one-woman-band performance -- "Today" Show co-host Matt Lauer hailed her "incredibly unique sound" -- for free until February 7 when her debut album 'Eye To The Telescope' is released on Virgin Records. From February 7 - March 7 the "Today" Show segment will be bundled for free with album downloads of 'Eye' on iTunes.

In related news, "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree" is currently enjoying its second week at #1 on the Triple A Radio singles chart, according to Radio & Records magazine, and the video for the song is in regular rotation on VH1, where KT is currently being highlighted as one of the network's "You Oughta Know" rising artists.
