Keep America Beautiful Names Qorvis as AOR

Nationwide Image/Public Education Campaign Taps Qorvis' Advertising Capabilities

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - December 3, 2007) - Qorvis Communications announced today that Keep America Beautiful, Inc., the nation's largest volunteer-based community improvement organization that for decades has created some of the most important and enduring communications efforts, has selected Qorvis to create and manage a new nationwide image and public service advertising campaign.

"Working with Keep America Beautiful is another milestone for Qorvis and the latest validation of our strategy to provide clients with the complete communications toolbox to achieve their needs," said Managing Partner Michael Petruzzello. "It also strongly supports our growing expertise in the rapidly expanding environmentally friendly arena."

This is the latest win of what has been a big year for Qorvis, which won the coveted Virginia Lottery account and produced major integrated communications campaigns for the Consumer Electronics Association and the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association (PhRMA), among many others.

"Qorvis is proud to help expand the historic legacy of Keep America Beautiful by solidifying its position as the cornerstone of the green movement," stated Qorvis Founding Partner Doug Poretz. "The 'Crying Indian' is one of the best-known public service advertisements in U.S. history. Our goal is to create the next legendary campaign to inspire the public to protect and preserve America's communities."

Qorvis will design and place Keep America Beautiful's public service announcements; create a new branding campaign; execute quantitative and qualitative research; and manage specific public outreach, creative services, media relations and grassroots efforts.

"This will be more than just an advertising campaign," said Rob Wallace, vice president, communications for Keep America Beautiful, Inc. "We were impressed with Qorvis' ability to come up with a big idea and bring it to life with integrated advertising, public relations, grassroots and interactive thinking. We're looking forward to working with them to make this happen for us."

The addition of Keep America Beautiful furthers Qorvis' commitment to a clean environment and to its list of environmentally friendly and socially conscious projects. This includes work for the Action Sports Environmental Coalition (ASEC), an international non-profit organization of prominent skateboarders, surfers, snowboarders and natural products companies; The Earth Conservation Corps, a non-profit youth development and environmental service organization; and the U.S. Green Building Council.
