Providing Capital and Resources to Start-Up Companies

LAFAYETTE, CA--(Marketwire - December 16, 2009) - Keiretsu Forum, the world's largest angel investment community, will hold its Bay Area Angel Capital Expo on Friday, January 22nd from 7:30am to 2:00pm at Microsoft in Mountain View, California.

Angel Capital Expo is the premier gathering of angel investors and entrepreneurs seeking funding capital to grow their businesses. On January 22, 2010, more than 300 of the Bay Area's most active and respected angel investors will attend the Expo.

"I started Keiretsu Forum in September 2000 in the East Bay with the vision of providing a structured and disciplined approach toward angel investing," said Randy Williams, Founder and CEO of Keiretsu Forum. "Our members are active in this economy and have access to the best deal flow we've ever seen. We are proud to gather at the upcoming Expo to support the East Bay investor and entrepreneurial community."

The Bay Area Angel Capital Expo will feature ten presentations from early stage companies in technology, life sciences, consumer products, real estate, social ventures and other segments with high growth potential. Vator, a marketing tool for entrepreneurs and innovators, will be premiering an online competition for startups seeking to present for venture capital at the Keiretsu Forum Angel Capital EXPO. Entries can be made at http://vator.tv/competition/show/keiretsu-forum-competition beginning December 15th and the public will choose the winner by casting votes online. The start-up selected by viewers will win a spot as a presenting company. The package is valued at over $6,000.

"The Keiretsu Forum Angel Capital Expo provided us with an unmatched opportunity to meet and connect with hundreds of top-notch investors," said Sheryl O'Loughlin, CEO of Nest Collective, winner of the "Most Valued Company" award at the Angel Capital Expo held in April 2009 in San Francisco, California.
