Kent Exploration Inc.: Flagstaff Property, WA, 3D IP Survey

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 29, 2008) - Kent Exploration Inc (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:KEX) has entered into an agreement with SJ Geophysics Ltd. to conduct a three-dimensional Induced Polarization survey on the Company's 100% optioned Flagstaff Mountain property at Northport, WA, approximately 15 km south of Rossland, BC.

Up to 21 line-kilometers will be surveyed on a grid of approximately 1.3 square kilometers centered on the historic barite workings on the property. The 3D IP survey is intended to test for the orientation and distribution at depth of quartz veins that CE Minerals reported as hosting gold mineralization during its 1981-1982 drill program, as well as to test for Sedex style deposits potentially associated with the zinc mineralization reported in a drill program conducted on the property by US Steel.

Kent Exploration Inc is a junior exploration company that has a 100% interest in a mining lease option on the Flagstaff Mountain property, a gold/silver/zinc/barite prospect in eastern Washington state, is earning a 100% interest in the Rosebud property, a gold/silver prospect in northern Arizona, and has earned a 50% interest in the Ivanhoe Creek property, a Midas-style gold/silver target and a 50% interest in the Ivanhoe Creek placer claims, covering a bentonite deposit in Nevada's Carlin Trend.
