Kim Flowers Announces Launch of Kim Flowers Management, a National Talent Management Firm Representing Youth and Adult Actors, Models and Singers

LAS VEGAS, NV -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 30, 2006 -- After more than ten years of fostering young actors, models and singers in Nevada and throughout the U.S., local talent manager Kim Flowers proudly announces the official launch of Kim Flowers Management. The company currently represents approximately 30 clients.

As a talent manager, Flowers' role is to develop and guide her clients' careers. A manager advises clients on the necessary steps that will lead to being prepared in a marketable fashion. Flowers is concerned with taking her clients' careers to the next level, which requires her to be well connected with industry professionals. Once Flowers feels a client is sufficiently prepared, she introduces him or her to a talent agent whose only concern is to procure employment.

Flowers' career in talent management began in 1996 when she opened a talent and acting school franchise in Las Vegas, becoming the first African American woman in the nation to run a franchise from the internationally recognized talent training and development center. Flowers began building relationships with casting directors and talent agents in Hollywood including major corporations such as NBC, ABC, CBS, Disney, the WB and Nickelodeon, and soon found herself being asked to recommend talent instead of having to seek projects for her students. Flowers began officially managing students, and with approximately 30 clients on board, decided to launch her own management company.

Flowers represents several young stars celebrating Hollywood success. Her clients include Conner Rayburn from ABC's "According to Jim," starring Jim Belushi and Courtney Thorne-Smith; Jessica Miller, the third highest ranked supermodel in the world, who has been featured in print campaigns for Dolce & Gabbana, Emporio Armani, Louis Vuitton and Fendi, and has also appeared in fashion magazines including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Vanity Fair and Cosmopolitan; AJ Trauth from Disney's "Even Stevens," "U Wish" and the Hallmark Channel's "Wild Hearts," and has also appeared in episodes of the hit CBS shows "CSI," "Ghost Whisperer" and "Numb3rs;" Natalie Amenula, who has appeared on CBS's "Without a Trace," and the FX hit show "The Shield;" Sean Patrick Flaherty from the upcoming film "Camp Kids," starring Academy Award® winner Cuba Gooding Jr.; Ella Rae Zanders, who has appeared in national television commercials for Little Debbie Snacks, McDonald's and Senior Dimensions and a national print advertisement for Target; and Lauren Shelley, who has appeared in NBC's "Passions" and a print advertisement for Skechers.

Flowers has received much recognition for her involvement in the Las Vegas community and her dedication to growing a successful business. In June 2004, Flowers received the Small Business Administration Award for Small Business Person of the Year, nominated by the Urban Chamber of Commerce in Las Vegas. In 1997, she was nominated for Businesswoman of the Year by the Black Chamber of Commerce, and is currently on the Board of Advisors with the Nevada Chamber of Commerce.
