King & Spalding Advises United International Bank in Acquisition of Controlling Interest in Kosan Crisplant

DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES and LONDON--(Marketwire - January 9, 2008) - King & Spalding, a
leading international law firm, announced today that it has advised United
International Bank B.S.C. (UIB) on the acquisition through UIB's newly
formed subsidiary KC Lux S.a.r.l. of a controlling interest in Kosan
Crisplant Holding A/S (Kosan). UIB acquired its interest in Kosan from
Segulah II, L.P., a Swedish private equity firm. Denmark-based Kosan is a
leading provider internationally of systems and solutions for filling and
reconditioning of liquefied propane gas cylinders.
The King & Spalding legal team on the transaction consists of partners Mark
Thompson, Benjamin Newland and Jawad Ali, and associates Marcus Young and
Reza Dadbakhsh. Thompson, Young and Dadbakhsh are based in London; Newland
and Ali in Dubai.
