Kria Resources Reports Further Massive Sulphide Intersections and Assays From the Ruttan Project, Manitoba

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 10, 2008) - Kria Resources today reported the remaining assay results from its 2007 summer drill program at the Ruttan Mine Project located near Leaf Rapids in northern Manitoba. Kria drilled five holes totaling 1,505 meters on the Hanging Wall Zinc (HW Zinc) zone of the former producing Ruttan mine. The holes were drilled to follow-up on historical hole UX 5902 which contained 14.70% zinc, 0.16% copper and 1.71% lead over 11.76 meters. Subsequently, bore hole pulse electromagnetic surveys (BHEM) were carried out on four of the holes. Highlights from the HW Zinc program include:

- Diamond drillhole R0707A intersected multiple zones including 11.25 meters grading 7.43% zinc, 0.18% copper, and 0.39% lead which includes 3.30 meters grading 15.85% zinc, 0.24% copper, and 0.90% lead. Further down the hole, 3.02 meters grading 6.00% zinc, 0.05% copper, and 0.11% lead were intersected. BHEM survey shows a conductor centered below and west of the hole.

- Diamond drillhole R0709 intersected 0.98 meters grading 1.04% zinc, 0.05% copper, and 0.27% lead. However, BHEM indicates a large strong to moderate conductor below the end of the hole. This anomaly is interpreted to represent the up plunge / up dip extension of the Main Zone.

- Diamond drillhole R0708 was stopped short of the favourable horizon in the summer of 2007 and will be completed when drilling resumes in January 2008.

Dayle Rusk, P. Geo., Vice President of Exploration, commented, "These results demonstrate yet again that further near-surface potential exists at Ruttan, in a similar way as with the results we received from the West Anomaly drillholes, reported late in 2007. With the benefit of the downhole geophysics from the HW Zinc drilling, we can now more accurately target the HW Zinc Zone and what we think may be the up dip extension of the Main Zone."

A longitudinal section of the HW Zinc drilling is shown in Figure 1 and the Main Zone target area is shown in Figure 2.

The Ruttan Project, located 21 kilometres east of Leaf Rapids, Manitoba, is a copper-zinc sulphide orebody that was discovered in 1968. Production from the underground mine began in 1979 with continuous mine production for 23 years. Historical production from Ruttan has been reported to be approximately 55 million tonnes grading 1.22% copper and 1.46% zinc. Kria has the option to acquire 100% of Ruttan.

Kria plans to complete an updated resource estimate on Ruttan by Wardrop Engineering in the first quarter of 2008. A further exploration program including geophysics and diamond drilling is currently underway. In addition to continuing drilling on the West Anomaly and HW Zinc Zone, Kria will complete a VTEM geophysical survey on its claim position to identify new targets and utilize BHEM to optimize drill targeting in the spring of 2008. Kria plans to complete an evaluation of the potential to use the existing underground workings to access drilling; a scoping study on development scenarios; and further definition and metallurgical studies, as required.

Quality Control

The Company employs a QA/QC protocol on all aspects of the analytical procedures. Core samples are sawn and one half of the BQ core is restored to the core box for future reference and one half of the core is sent for analysis. Samples are taken in approx. 1.0-metre intervals or less. Sample preparation and assaying is conducted at TSL labs in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada using multi-acid digest/ ICP-AES and AAS techniques. A blank sample is inserted every 40th sample and standard commercially prepared samples representing a range of grades are inserted at intervals of 1 in 20 samples.

The Quality Control and all aspects of the exploration program are supervised by Kria Resources, Vice President of Operations, Steve Davies, P. Eng., who is a Qualified Person as defined under National Instrument 43-101.
