Kria Resources Reports Massive Sulphide Intersections and Assays From the Ruttan Project, Manitoba

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 30, 2007) - Kria Resources today reported assay results from its 2007 summer drill program at the Ruttan Mine Project located near Leaf Rapids in northern Manitoba. Kria drilled four holes totaling 916 meters on the West Anomaly and five holes totaling 1,505 meters on the HW Zinc zone of the former producing Ruttan mine. Highlights from the West Anomaly results include:

- Diamond drillhole R0703 drilled in the West Anomaly at Ruttan returned 27.40 meters of 4.24% zinc and 0.53% copper including 4.50 meters of 9.89% zinc and 0.34% copper

- Diamond drillhole R0701 returned multiple intersections including 10.16 meters of 5.04% zinc and 0.64% copper; 2.06 meters of 2.69% zinc and 0.32% copper and 12.61 meters of 3.59% zinc and 0.55% copper

- Diamond drillhole R0702 returned multiple intersections including 4.08 meters of 7.07% zinc and 0.43% copper and 5.75 meters of 4.80% zinc and 0.29% copper

- Diamond drillhole R0704 returned multiple intersections including 9.05 meters of 4.63% zinc and 1.01% copper

The Ruttan Project, located 21 kilometres east of Leaf Rapids, Manitoba, is a copper-zinc sulphide orebody that was discovered in 1968. Production from the underground mine began in 1979 with continuous mine production for 23 years. Historical production from Ruttan was 55 million tonnes grading 1.22% copper and 1.46% zinc. Kria has the option to acquire 100% of Ruttan.

Dayle Rusk, P. Geo., Vice President of Exploration, commented, "These results confirm there is excellent underexplored near-surface potential at this past-producing mine. A longitudinal section of the West Anomaly drilling is shown in Figure 1.

Mike Hoffman, President and CEO, added "This initial drill program is a positive first step in Kria's development and demonstrates that there continues to be excellent potential of increasing both the tonnage and grades of the historic Ruttan resource. The depth of our management team and board give us the tools to maximize the potential of this property."

Kria plans to complete an updated resource estimate on Ruttan by Wardrop Engineering by early November of 2007. The Company expects to initiate a further exploration program including geophysics and diamond drilling in November of 2007. Assuming results continue to be positive, Kria will initiate a preliminary economic assessment on Ruttan in the spring of 2008.

Kria expects to release results on the HW Zinc holes (R0705 to R0709) upon receipt of assays, expected within the next month. Kria intends to continue its drill program on the West Anomaly and HW Zinc Zone to determine the limits of the resource. Kria will complete a VTEM geophysical survey on its claim position to identify new targets and utilize borehole EM to optimize drill targeting. An evaluation of the potential to use the existing underground workings to access drilling; a scoping study on development scenarios; and further definition and metallurgical studies will be completed as required.

Quality Control

The Company employs a QA/QC protocol on all aspects of the analytical procedures. Core samples are sawn and one half of the BQ core is restored to the core box for future reference and one half of the core is sent for analysis. Samples are taken in approx. 1.0 -metre intervals or less. Sample preparation and assaying is conducted at TSL labs in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada using multi-acid digest/ ICP-AES and AAS techniques. A blank sample is inserted every 40th sample and standard commercially prepared samples representing a range of grades are inserted at intervals of 1 in 20 samples.

The Quality Control and all aspects of the exploration program are supervised by Kria Resources, Vice President of Operations, Steve Davies, P. Eng., who is a Qualified Person as defined under National Instrument 43-101.
