Charles Jones Talks With Leading Independent HR Industry Analyst About Market Dynamics and Company Combination in Live Customer Forum

STAMFORD, CT--(Marketwire - February 3, 2010) - In the first of a new series of sponsored long-format webcasts called "Firing Line," Bill Kutik will be interviewing the Chairman and new CEO of Peopleclick Authoria, Charles S. Jones, on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. ET. "Firing Line" will provide listeners the opportunity to participate in an interactive, high-level conversation in an extended format with executives in the HR technology industry.

During this inaugural webcast, Mr. Jones will discuss the market drivers that led to the acquisition and integration of Authoria and Peopleclick (visit "Authoria and Peopleclick Combine in $100 Million Transaction to Create Largest Private Company in Talent Management Arena" announced on January 5, 2010). Mr. Jones will also highlight the solutions and resources he intends to deliver to global customers looking to build profitability and growth in 2010 and beyond.

"The combination of Peopleclick and Authoria at the start of the 2010 was big news in our industry, and I couldn't be happier to have Charles Jones as a guest on my new sponsored webcast series," said Mr. Kutik, Independent Analyst, Technology Columnist for Human Resource Executive® and Host of The Bill Kutik Radio Show®. "This unscripted, live interview gives me the perfect opportunity to explore the impact and the outcome of this major consolidation in the Talent Management market and to examine this particular combination in its early integration stages. I am looking forward to hearing what this software industry veteran has to say about market consolidation and what the future might hold for Peopleclick Authoria, for the market place and, most importantly, for its many customers."

Mr. Jones has a reputation for innovation and customer-centric growth strategies, as well as a proven and highly successful track record in integrating software companies. Before becoming Managing Partner of Bedford Funding, Mr. Jones was Chairman and then CEO of Markham, Ontario-based Geac Computer Corporation, a Toronto Stock Exchange listed software company with annual revenues approaching U.S. $500 million. He was also Global Chief Executive Officer of Shandwick, at the time the world's largest public relations firm, where he was responsible for worldwide operations.

During Mr. Jones' tenure at Geac, he transformed the business with two large public company acquisitions and built an innovative and market leading business intelligence software enterprise focused on the financial value chain. On October 1, 2001, the Wall Street Journal named Geac the number one performing global stock. In 2004, Mr. Jones was named on the top 10 list of CEOs in Canada and, in 2005, on the top 25 list of CEOs in Canada by Canada's National Post newspaper.
