Kwikwork Business Process Framework for IBM Filenet P8 Now Integrates With Microsoft, Lawson, and Informative Graphics Software

CHANDLER, AZ--(Marketwire - February 16, 2010) -  enChoice®, Inc. today announced that its KwikWork® Business Process Framework (BPF) solution now offers integration with Microsoft® Office, Lawson™'s enterprise resource planning (ERP) products, and Informative Graphics™ Brava®. These new integrations enhance productivity and improve business efficiencies by increasing process automation and providing IBM® FileNet® P8 users with a more intuitive and seamless experience.

KwikWork BPF is an out-of-the-box, Web-based Agile Application Framework (AAF) and work processing solution for FileNet P8 that delivers a fast return on investment (ROI) by integrating people, processes and content via a customizable user interface that is so easy to use, even novices are up and running with minimal training. Features including workflow automation, process reporting, and user-based security increase productivity while reducing operational costs and enforcing guidelines for corporate best-practice execution and regulatory compliance.

The latest version of KwikWork delivers the following capabilities:

  • Application integration add-ins for Microsoft Office improve productivity by enabling P8 users to check documents in and out of the repository directly from Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, or PowerPoint.
  • Integration with Lawson System Foundation reduces processing times by enabling data to be automatically passed from a FileNet P8 workflow to a Lawson ERP application.
  • Integration with the Informative Graphics Brava document and image viewer helps enforce compliance and security measures while providing a better viewing experience for users. When added as an optional viewer to KwikWork BPF, its intuitive interface can display numerous types of repository documents while providing extensive control over what users can see and do.

"With plans to expand into new states and add new lines of insurance, it was critical that we implemented solutions that would enable us to realize increased business efficiencies," said John Amat, vice president, Anchor General Insurance Company. "We chose to have enChoice deploy KwikWork alongside IBM FileNet Business Process Manager, and as a result, we've been able to achieve the process improvements imperative to facilitating our rapid growth."

"By enabling seamless interoperability between P8 and other vital business applications, these integrations empower organizations to maximize their ROI and ultimately enhance their bottom lines," said Wally Bitaut, executive vice president of enChoice's software division. "We plan to continue helping our customers achieve success by further extending the features and configurability of KwikWork, and by focusing on providing production-oriented application frameworks suitable for any line of business."

KwikWork also offers a new business process management API that helps optimize productivity by enabling managers to see the number of work items within a queue, and how long each item has been there. Versions of KwikWork that have been customized to meet the needs of specific verticals including claims, underwriting, accounts payable, human resources, and physical records are also available.
