La Maison Du Chocolat Holidays 2009 Collection: "A Starry Night"

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - December 21, 2009) - Encouraged by its Creative Director and Master Pastry Chef, Gilles Marchal, a native of Lorraine, La Maison du Chocolat celebrates this Holiday Season 2009 in the traditional spirit of Eastern France. The new collection, "A Starry Night," is inspired by the traditional symbols of Christmas: stars, lights and ornaments.

"It was while I was thinking about my childhood memories and my native Lorraine that I created the new Christmas 2009 Collection: 'A Starry Night,'" says Gilles Marchal.

Holiday spices, dark and milk chocolate, almond, raisin, orange, pistachio, clementine, glazed chestnut, Mirabelle plum, and almond paste all exalt the magic of Christmas and metamorphose into savory stars.

The Star of the Collection: "A Starry Night" Coffret

Gilles Marchall's memories are found in each of the creations contained in this Coffret. It contains a selection of gourmet stars with the delicate flavors of the season including holiday spices, dark and milk chocolate, "mendiants" -- almonds, raisins, orange, pistachios, clementines, glazed chestnuts, almond paste and more.

The coffret is available in three sizes:
