Las Vegas Railway Express, Inc. ("X" Train) Names John M. Zilliken as Vice President and General Manager

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - May 5, 2010) -  Las Vegas Railway Express, Inc. ("X" Train), a Delaware company (OTCBB: XTRN) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. John M. Zilliken as its Vice President and General Manager. This appointment is another step in a series of corporate initiatives which brings to the forefront the business focus of the "X" Train to provide passenger rail service between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Mr. Zilliken's career spans over 20 years leading and managing superior customer service for Neiman Marcus and MGM MIRAGE.

Mr. Zilliken spent a majority of his career in various roles within the stores division of The Neiman Marcus Group, most notably leading the efforts of the Company's $55 million dollar renovation and expansion of its Las Vegas location. Shortly after the completion of NMLV's renovation, Mr. Zilliken was appointed Vice President and General Manager for Mandalay Resort Group's new shopping development, Mandalay Place, where he was instrumental in the continuation and completion of Mandalay Place's initial development stage, including tenant improvements, leasing and organizational operating structure. Additionally, Mr. Zilliken was responsible for all Mall operations and MRG's company owned retail stores, including executive financial oversight for celebrity chef food and beverage outlets, Burger Bar (Hubert Keller), RM Seafood (Rick Moonen), Chocolate Swan and Ivan Kane's Forty Deuce. Following the acquisition of Mandalay Resort Group by MGM MIRAGE in 2004, Mr. Zilliken added additional responsibilities as MGM MIRAGE Retail's Vice President of Leasing. He was a member of Mandalay Bay's Executive Operating Committee. Notable achievements were establishing first store locations within Las Vegas, Nevada, or the United States for the following; Nike Golf, Urban Outfitters, The Reading Room, Five Little Monkeys, The Art of Shaving, Minus 5 Experience, Lush Cosmetics, MAX & Company, Starlight Tattoo, Just Cavalli and the Peter Lik Gallery. He also participated in the early planning stages for Project CityCenter's Crystals retail development.

Mr. Zilliken received a B.A. in Political Science from Texas A&M University.
