Last Week of Summer - Summertime Blues Turn to Autumn Opportunities

NOTE TO EDITORS: The Following Is an Investment Opinion Being Issued by the IOCircuit.

LAKE HARMONY, PA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 28, 2006 -- It's probably best to enjoy summer without worrying about the market, especially because it's almost always the weakest period of the year. However, that doesn't mean we shouldn't locate special opportunities now, I thought it would be interesting to identify some of the best performing companies over the past month that were softened up during the dog days of summer, Alvarion Ltd (NASDAQ: ALVR), Harmonic Lightwaves Inc. (NASDAQ: HLIT), and Travelzoo Inc. (NASDAQ: TZOO), operate in the 3 best performing industries, Telecommunications Equipment, General Mining and Travel & Tourism, over the last month and have the momentum going forward into fall.

By locating the companies that were hit hard during the summer, but have made a solid recovery in August, yet not too far a move to eclipse its 52-week high, we may find some of the issues primed for the biggest moves of the last part of this year.

Surprisingly none of the mining stocks made the list, but one of the companies, Texxon (OTC BB: TXXN), is a crossover product. The Company's TelePlus subsidiary provides international communication services for the global traveler.
