Law Enforcement Associates Introduces Two Video Surveillance Kits Based on Successful Scorpion Micro Digital Video Camera

Kits Represent Significant Cost-Savings Opportunity

RALEIGH, NC--(Marketwire - November 4, 2010) - Law Enforcement Associates Corporation (LEA) (OTCBB: LAWE), a leading U.S.-based developer and manufacturer of electronic surveillance equipment, today introduced its Super Scorpion Kit and Patrol Kit, two video surveillance packages anchored by LEA's popular Scorpion Micro digital video (DV) camera. The Scorpion, the smallest high-resolution digital video camera in the world, is a body worn video (BWV) device that has become an important surveillance and evidence-gathering tool for a growing number of law enforcement, corrections and public agency customers.

The Super Scorpion Kit, which is designed for teams of law enforcement and surveillance personnel, includes the Scorpion camera, the Scorpion Tiny, the KeyFob 2.0 covert camera, an 8GB SDHC memory card with USB adaptor, a thumb drive style USB memory card reader, a 12 volt DC vehicle charger and a Pelican hard-shell storage case.

The Patrol Kit includes the Scorpion camera system and accessory items ideal for officers operating in the field. Supporting equipment includes an 8GB SDHC memory card and USB card reader for data transfer, a car charger, standard Scorpion accessories and small hard plastic storage case.

"Our objective in developing these kits was to assemble certain accessory combinations to meet the specific needs of our law enforcement, corrections, and security customer profiles," said Paul Briggs, LEA's president and CEO. "The pricing on the kits represents a discount of up to 25 percent versus purchasing the associated devices individually."
