Law Enforcement Associates Receives Order for 45 Disguised Surveillance Devices From Major Federal Law Enforcement Agency

New Audio Monitoring and Recording Devices Introduced in July

YOUNGSVILLE, NC--(Marketwire - October 1, 2007) - Law Enforcement Associates Corporation (LEA) (AMEX: AID), the largest U.S. developer and manufacturer of undercover surveillance equipment, today announced it has received an order for 45 disguised audio surveillance devices. The order was placed by a major federal law enforcement agency that relies extensively on undercover surveillance operations.

"Our research and development team has developed a compact and highly effective audio surveillance device designed to blend in with modern-day environs," said Paul Feldman, president. "This order, the second placed by this agency for these devices, reflects the critical role LEA's products continue to play in cutting-edge police work. Due to the classified nature of these devices and the agency that has purchased them, we are unable to disclose more detail about the order. Suffice it to say, we are pleased this product has been embraced so soon after its introduction."

The device is one of several new products LEA unveiled at the July 2007 National Technical Investigators' Association (NATIA) Annual Training Conference.
