Mountain Gear Is Scheduling UClimb Learn to Climb, Red Rock Rendezvous and Kootenay Coldsmoke Powder Fest for 2010

SPOKANE, WA--(Marketwire - February 3, 2010) - Whether it's improving your rock climbing technique, experiencing backcountry powder or any other outdoor passion, Mountain Gear has events scheduled in 2010 to make sure your skills are honed and your equipment is top notch.

From March 19 to 21, 2010, more than 1,000 climbers will converge at the Red Rock National Conservation Area in Las Vegas, Nevada. All Red Rock Rendezvous clinics are taught by professionals and guides. Programs range from $49 for entry to the "full meal deal" -- $99 for two days of clinics, camping and food. Beginners are encouraged to sign up for the Intro to Climbing program, which includes instruction, rock climbing shoes, harness, belay device, locking carabiner, chalk bag and one-year membership to the Access Fund for $349 ($179 without gear).
