NORCROSS, GA--(Marketwire - November 11, 2009) - Leo Wells, president and founder of Wells Real Estate Funds, has been elected to the Board of Governors of NAREIT®, the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts®. Mr. Wells' election was announced at NAREIT's annual convention, in Phoenix, AZ. Mr. Wells is one of only a few board members who manage nontraded REITs -- real estate companies whose shares do not trade on the major exchanges.
