Lift Me Up Cards Launches a Greeting Card Line for Plastic Surgery Patients

DALLAS, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 20, 2006 -- Allegedly, celebrities like Ashlee Simpson, Pamela Anderson and Tara Reid have all had plastic surgery. As a tribute to them and the thousands of others who have gone under the plastic surgery knife, Lift Me Up Cards proudly announces the launch of their greeting card line. The line was introduced at the National Stationery Show back in May in New York City.

The Lift Me Up plastic surgery line of cards offers a humorous way to congratulate friends or family members for cosmetically enhancing themselves. The line is a collaboration of Camie Dunbar's crazy wit and sense of humor and the artistic creativity of Matthew Santamarina. Cards like these are yet to be found in any of the major greeting card retailers. "After doing a good amount of research, I realized the concept was extremely unique, yet the reason for giving such cards is common practice, for plastic surgery is performed on over 11.5 million people per year. Therefore, the demand would be great," explained Camie Dunbar, Founder and Creator. One of the most popular cards states, "Congratulations on the twins!" on the cover and the inside reads, "They make a good addition to the family." Another says, "I thought we could sit around and chew the fat" on the cover, with the inside message reading, "but since you just had liposuction, that's probably not a good idea." The cards are the standard 5" x 7" cards, and they retail for $2.95 each. The line also includes complementary notepads retailing for $4.95. The "nose" card was purchased and supposedly sent to Ashlee Simpson to congratulate her on her new look.

Lift Me Up Cards is a privately held company based out of Dallas, TX because as they say... everything is bigger in Texas. Lift Me Up Cards goes where no other card company dares to go. We bring you the perfect collection of greeting cards for those who have endured plastic surgery.
