LiveOps to Power Call Center for Tonight's Larry King Live Telethon "Disaster in the Gulf: How You Can Help"

Donations Handled by LiveOps Independent Agents Will Support Those Affected by Gulf Coast Oil Spill

SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - June 21, 2010) -

WHAT: The Nature Conservancy, National Wildlife Federation and United Way have selected LiveOps to manage the call center for tonight's celebrity telethon hosted by CNN and Larry King to aid the people, wildlife and habitats affected by the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The telethon will include appearances by Justin Bieber, Ted Danson, Cameron Diaz, Tim McGraw, Robert Redford, and Lenny Kravitz, among others.

With its on-demand workforce made up of thousands of independent at-home agents, LiveOps provides the ideal call center model to quickly and securely handle the spiky call volumes of a telethon. For the past five years, LiveOps has stepped in to help many other relief organizations with fundraising, family displacement and emergency calls.

WHY: Funds raised from the telethon will support three different organizations: National Wildlife Federation, The Nature Conservancy and United Way. Callers will be able to choose which organization they would like to support with their donation.

WHEN: Monday, June 21, starting at 8 p.m. E.T. on CNN.

HOW TO DONATE: Starting at 6 p.m. ET call 1-800-491-GULF (4853)
