Long Time Director Resigns

MONTREAL--(Marketwire - August 7, 2008) - Legacy Wine & Spirits International Ltd. (OTCBB: LWSP) reports that David Zhang, a Chinese entrepreneur based in Beijing, China, has joined the Board of Directors of the Company. Long time director and former President, Robert Klein, has resigned as a director of the Company to pursue other business interests.

Marc Scheive, President of Legacy, states, "The Company is on the verge of launching its franchised wine and spirits retail business into China at a time when the consumer demand for Western lifestyle is at an all time high.
