Longitude Health Receives Contract Extension From Georgia Department of Community Health for

Initial Service Period Extended for Service Delivery to Georgia-Based Employers and Their Employees Through June of 2010

SOMERSET, NJ--(Marketwire - November 24, 2009) - Longitude Health, Inc. (, provider of guided health and wellness solutions, today announced that the Georgia Department of Community Health, Division of Public Health (DCH), has exercised its option to extend the initial service period of its contract with Longitude Health. Longitude Health will continue to provide its innovative health and wellness program,, through June of 2010 and DCH continues to have the option of renewing for up to four additional years.

Longitude Health will continue to deliver an incentive-driven program with on-site and online resources including health assessments, one-to-one guidance and the American Heart Association's "Search Your Heart" curriculum to holistically reduce the health risks associated with cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity.

At the time of the launch in the first quarter of 2009, Dr. Sandra Elizabeth Ford, acting director of the Division of Public Health, underscored the Longitude Health's value, "Georgia faces a high prevalence of cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity. The MyHealthVillage program is available for free to worksites selected by the DCH's Office of Health Behaviors. Eligible employees and their spouses participate with no out of pocket cost.
