Lucky Patient at Southfield Family Dental Center Receives Free Makeover

Top Detroit Cosmetic Dentist, Southfield Family Dental, Provides Unemployed Patient With Free Dental Reconstruction Services Through the "Get a Job" Smile Makeover Program

DETROIT, MI--(Marketwire - January 13, 2010) - Top Detroit dentist, Dr. Noah Levi, and his Southfield Family Dental Center unveil the results of the "Get a Job" Smile Makeover program with the completion of a full mouth reconstruction for one Detroit patient.

The lucky patient, Ms. V. Anthony, won the makeover in March of 2008, after sending in pictures of her teeth and completing an essay detailing how the poor condition of her smile hindered her from landing a job. After choosing Ms. Anthony based on the condition of her teeth and her strong determination to find a job, Southfield cosmetic dentist Dr. Levi performed a number of dental procedures on her over the course of one year.

"Ms. Anthony was the perfect candidate for the 'Get a Job' program. Her positive work ethic was negatively affected by the condition of her smile, and she felt her confidence and self-esteem lowering with each job rejection. We worked with Ms. Anthony extensively to discuss both her dental and career goals, helping her to obtain a professional smile and regain the positive attitude needed to land a job. Ms. Anthony is thrilled with the results and is ready to get back to work, and our team couldn't be happier to see her smile," says Dr. Levi.

The dental procedures performed throughout the makeover process included scaling and root planning, root canals, crowns and partial dentures. Ms. Anthony's new smile is now fuller, whiter and healthier.

Southfield began the unique makeover program in the beginning of 2008. The program was developed in an effort to give back to the community through a challenging economy, during which many people are forced to ignore dental health due to lack of money or proper insurance.

"Not only has our smile makeover program helped one lucky patient improve her smile, but by getting a job, she also gains the ability to maintain that healthy smile. That's what we're working toward here at Southfield Dental -- a happy, healthy community," says Detroit dentist Dr. Levi.
