PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - April 27, 2010) -  People Power Company, a green-tech startup focusing on energy efficiency, today announced that its CEO, Gene Wang, will present at the Green:Net 2010 Startup Launchpad, taking place in San Francisco on Thursday, April 29. People Power is one of 10 startups hand-selected to represent on stage how their technology is being used to fight climate change.

Green:Net 2010 Launchpad provides a forum for startups to come together and present how their green technology is helping to save the planet. Prior to selection, all companies were required to submit a form, subsequently reviewed by a panel of top tier VC firms. Only 10 hot startups with the coolest applications for leveraging IT to fight climate change were selected. Gene will discuss how People Power is leveraging open source to develop innovative green technology.
