MKG Provisions Partners With El Salvadorian Seafood Processing Facility: Sea-Frozen Seafood to Reach Global Market

MIAMI, FL--(Marketwire - October 26, 2009) - MKG Provisions of Georgia is announcing that it has partnered with a multi-million dollar seafood processing facility in El Salvador. The facility owns its own vessels and will be processing seafood products on the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. This partnership will allow for expansion of MKG's services to include both finfish and shellfish processing.

MKG Provisions focuses on its line of Sea-Frozen products. Sea-Frozen is a method whereby fish is processed within 30 minutes of harvesting and frozen immediately directly on the boat at minus 50 degrees Fahrenheit, as opposed to the traditional land freezing where fish can be on a boat on ice for more than 5-10 days. Additionally, land freezing can take up to several hours for the product to freeze. The Sea-Frozen process literally "stops the clock" on decomposition and seals in the freshness, creating fresher and better tasting seafood.

MKG Provisions CEO, Michael Faber said, "We are extremely pleased with the announcement of our new partnership. This joint venture will allow us to greatly expand the distribution of our Sea-Frozen products, and we expect it to significantly increase our global market share. We also plan to provide more information on other lines of protein-based products very soon." Mr. Faber continued, "Our main objective is to distribute the freshest and best tasting seafood."

MKG is currently developing its global distribution network and is working to expand its product lines in both the commercial and the retail sides of the business.
