MaintenanceNet Launches Quick, One-Step Service Ordering for the Ingram Micro Reseller Services Portal

New Ordering Functionality Available Free of Charge to Solution Providers Using Ingram Micro's Reseller Services Portal Powered by MaintenanceNet

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - October 16, 2007) - Ingram Micro VentureTech Network Invitational -- MaintenanceNet, Inc., the leading provider of maintenance contract management services, is making it easier for Ingram Micro Inc.'s (NYSE: IM) solution providers in the U.S. to order Cisco SMARTnet service contracts. A new ordering capability, launched today at the Ingram Micro VentureTech Network event in Las Vegas, is now built into the IQM (Integrated Quoting Module), the self-help service renewal system available via the Ingram Micro Reseller Services Portal (RSP), powered by MaintenanceNet.

IQM was deployed in March 2007 for Ingram Micro as an integral component of the RSP. The new ordering capability, currently available only for Cisco SMARTnet orders, gives Ingram Micro solution providers the ability to order services in one quick step, directly through the RSP. This reduces the ordering process to minutes, eliminating the need for manual entry on multiple systems and simplifying complex searches for service options.

The RSP allows users to view IT assets by customer, by contract or even by SKU to gain visibility into service agreements covering entire IT environments as well as individual products. Automated e-mail notifications also support workflow by guiding users through key steps in the quoting and ordering process to reduce transaction errors and save time.

The RSP also supports multiple levels of user access, with Ingram Micro pricing data available to solution providers on a privileged access basis. In addition, it integrates client specific pricing structures and discount models into the system to eliminate time-consuming steps and expedite quote approvals and streamline the order process. Users are encouraged to use the system as a self-help solution for taking command of their own service quoting and ordering needs.

The new ordering functionality is now available as part of the Ingram Micro RSP and is free of charge to Ingram Micro's solution providers.
