Maisonette International Enterprises' Subsidiary Signs Exclusive Distribution Agreement With Pacific Building Systems For All Panelized Homes Production

Exclusivity Covers Eight European Countries

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 30, 2006 -- Maisonette International Enterprises Ltd. "the Company" (PINKSHEETS: MAEN) http://www.maisonetteworld.com is pleased to announce that on September 18 2006, its wholly owned Canadian subsidiary Maple Seal Homes Ltd. ("MSH") www.maplesealhomes.com has signed a new exclusivity Agreement for the export of its branded "Maple Seal Homes" panelized timber homes products. Maple Seal Homes Managing Director, Alain Ghiai is pleased to announce that a very important Agreement has been signed with a new manufacturer of panelized timber homes in British Columbia, Canada. The Exclusivity and Representation Agreement signed with Pacific Building Systems Inc. ("Pacific Homes") of Cobble Hill, B.C. Canada gives MSH a total exclusivity for the export of timber framed homes to eight European countries for the next three years with possibility of additional countries being added and extensions to the Agreement. The countries the Exclusivity Agreement covers are:

- The United Kingdom, Belgium, The Netherlands, The Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, France, The Principality of Monte- Carlo, Switzerland and The Principality of Lichtenstein.

MSH's partnership with the old manufacturer Winton Global Homes ("Winton") is being mutually terminated as of November 9 2006. The change to the new manufacturer was triggered by several events listed below:

Mr. Ghiai, Managing Director of Maple Seal Homes added: "There are two main reasons why MSH went with Pacific Homes. The first one being that ever since Winton unethically and without any explanation removed MSH's exclusivity in the United Kingdom we felt that something was brewing up at Winton that would be very detrimental to our shareholders. The minute we introduced our buyers from the United Kingdom, Winton started to try to take control of our business from wanting all payments to go through them, to removing our exclusivity Agreement we had with them (which was brought to us personally and to Vancouver and framed by them), to eventually forcing our hand in handing fifty per cent of our gross profit to Winton for all homes we sell in the United Kingdom. These conditions and unethical behaviors were not acceptable for our firm, especially since we have spent a year working on this deal and spent a lot of money on it. Furthermore, there have been some drastic middle and upper management changes at Winton and all these changes came as a sudden surprise to MSH and were difficult to deal with for us and some of our potential customers. In short, MSH started to feel very uncomfortable after Winton unethically removed the Agreements in place between our two companies. Pacific Homes never forced our hand in anything and actually has been extremely helpful in coordinating any request we have had so far. The fact that the ownership, not just middle management, has signed the Exclusivity and Representation Agreement with Maple Seal Homes shows that Pacific Homes is serious about its commitment, just as Maple Seal Homes is serious about its commitment to accurately represent its manufacturer and do its best to increase sales over the next few years, and Pacific Homes did not strong arm us by wanting fifty per cent of our profit either. The second reason why we went with Pacific Homes is the fact that for over sixty years, Pacific Homes has been in the line of business they are in today. With a variety of companies ranging from lumber supply, to Rona® stores and its building materials supply division, to the timber framed panelized homes; Pacific Homes makes the ideal manufacturer partner for MSH. Pacific Homes, through its vertically integrated network of companies, can supply at very competitive pricing and in a timely manner any product or building material MSH and its customers might need. This is a great advantage over any other company which would compete with MSH. Pacific Homes also signed an eight country Agreement, with potential for more territory coverage if MSH delivers the sales to warrant such an increase in territory coverage. So far, Maple Seal Homes is looking at a potential seventy five homes in France and over twenty homes in the United Kingdom. With Pacific Homes as a solid partner of high quality timber panelized homes and our Exclusivity and Representation Agreement, we feel we can give it the big push for the home sales we were planning in Europe."

Maple Seal Homes is currently working on several quotations for its United Kingdom and France markets and will inform its shareholders of any further progress in that regard. So far, the pricing is competitive and the Company believes that its wholly owned subsidiary Maple Seal Homes will be able to deliver a high quality product at very competitive prices.
