Major Outage Being Planned at Martin Lake Power Station, an Industrial Info News Alert

SUGAR LAND, TX--(Marketwire - April 23, 2008) - Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- A 60-day outage on the 793-megawatt (MW) Unit 3 at the Martin Lake Power Station in Tatum, Texas, was completed earlier this month, and plant owner Luminant Energy Company LLC is already planning for another major outage on Unit 2 in 2010. Fluor Daniel, a subsidiary of the Fluor Corporation (NYSE:FLR) (Irving, Texas), was the contractor for the work on Unit 3, and the company is expected to also perform work on Unit 2 in spring 2010.
