Making an Impact: Mark G. Anderson Consultants, One of the Washington Business Journal's "Best Places to Work," Expands to Pacific Northwest

Small Is the New Big, in PM Offerings

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - November 13, 2007) - Mark G. Anderson Consultants (MGAC), voted one of 2007's "Top 10 Best Small Places to Work" by the Washington Business Journal and headquartered in Washington, DC, is expanding to the Puget Sound area. Their newest office is located just footsteps from the waters of Lake Washington in Kirkland, WA. MGAC's office was founded in response to a client request to manage extensive estate quality residential design and construction projects for a confidential client as their outsourced real estate group.

"Like DC, Seattle has one of the healthiest local economies in the country. Setting up an additional office here gives us better access to the West Coast to serve our national clients, and it can also serve as a springboard to the Pacific Rim," said Mark Anderson, MGAC principal and founder.

Though new to the Seattle market, MGAC has already seen tremendous growth in its local client base. MGAC is currently providing project management services on several downtown projects for local developer, Urban Visions. Other well-known Seattle clients include national retailer OfficeMax, D.A. Davidson & Co., Office Suites PLUS, and secure office environments for federal clientele.

"Although many of our nationwide clients are institutional, our local Seattle work with developer Greg Smith of Urban Visions has been unique because of its focus on creative public/private mixed use, with notable emphasis on leading edge sustainability features," said Lewis Howie, LEED®AP, Seattle-based Vice President of MGAC.

MGAC's seasoned project managers have an average of twenty years experience and diverse specialties which includes 12 LEED® accredited professionals and 33 personnel with high government security clearance. During the past eleven years, MGAC managed the design and construction of the world's first LEED®AP certified data center, and recently completed the world's first LEED®AP Silver, Uptime Institute Tier III certified data center.
