Making the Grade: ATI Launches MobileMentor for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch

STILWELL, KS--(Marketwire - May 5, 2010) -  Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI) today announced the launch of ATI MobileMentor, an application that will allow RN students to prep for their all-important nursing licensing exam anytime and anywhere via an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

ATI MobileMentor is tied to the 2010 National Council Licensure EXamination (NCLEX)-RN Test Plan, and includes alternate NCLEX question types and a specific Facebook function that will allow students to submit questions, post comments and share info with other students.

ATI MobileMentor also features:

  • More than 700 unique questions organized by NCLEX area, body function and clinical area.
  • The user's ability to create custom quizzes by selecting from subtopics, or to generate random quizzes.
  • The user's ability to control the number of questions, with ATI MobileMentor estimating how long the quiz will take.
  • A review function that allows the user to review previous quizzes and quiz results, broken down by subtopic.
  • A question-review browser that allows the user to review the entire collection of questions within the application without having to take a quiz.

"MobileMentor allows RN students to study at their convenience -- anytime, anywhere," said Dawn Clayton, vice president of Research and Development at ATI. "It's an incredibly intuitive and helpful application for students preparing for the NCLEX."

MobileMentor costs $19.99 and can be downloaded from the Apple Store at www.store.apple.com.
