TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 22, 2005) - Maklyn Venture
Capital Corp. ("Maklyn") (TSX VENTURE:MAK.P) and QuStream Corporation
("QuStream") are pleased to announce that PESA Switching Systems, Inc.
("PESA"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of QuStream, has selected China's
Sobey Digital Technology Co. Ltd. ("Sobey") to sell PESA's entire
product line of digital video and audio equipment in the Chinese market.
Sobey is a leading developer, manufacturer, and system integrator of
non-linear editing and media asset management systems, as well as a
distributor of professional multimedia equipment in China. Sobey's
broadcast software is in use at 360 television stations, including a
24-channel STV system established for national broadcaster CCTV.

functionality our clients require and an intuitive control scheme that

Sobey's sales infrastructure includes six branches, 28 offices, and a
sales and support staff team comprising more than 150 staff. Sobey's
network systems have been installed in TV stations of all sizes
throughout the country, including major facilities such as CCTV, Beijing
TV, Shanghai TV, Guangdong TV, Shenzhen TV, and Liaoning TV. The 2004
launch of a six-channel playout system for Wuhan TV also established
Sobey as a premier systems integrator within this market.

As previously announced, Maklyn and QuStream have entered into a
non-arm's length formal amalgamation agreement, pursuant to which Maklyn
and QuStream have agreed to amalgamate (the "Amalgamation") to form a
new company to be called QuStream Corporation.

The completion of the Amalgamation is subject to the approval of TSX
Venture and all other necessary regulatory approval, including from the
Autorite des marches financiers (Quebec). The completion of the
Amalgamation is also subject to additional conditions precedent,
including shareholder approval of Maklyn under applicable corporate law,
shareholder approval of QuStream under applicable corporate law,
satisfactory completion by due diligence reviews by the parties, the
entering into of employment agreements and non-competition agreements
with certain key personnel of QuStream, and certain other conditions.
