Over the first five days of the season, Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday, MarketLive retailers achieved a 30.7% increase in revenue over the same period in 2008. Retailers witnessed a dramatic jump in site visitation, increasing 64.2%, while conversion rates held strong at 5.4%. Upon completion of extensive research, a larger percentage of customers committed to purchase upon adding to cart, bringing the cart abandonment rates down 9.6%.

Daily analysis of MarketLive retailers' performance uncovered important changes in online shopping behavior in consumers. Thanksgiving Day delivered compelling growth year-over-year with a 138.5% increase in revenue and 132.7% increase in traffic. MarketLive retailers experienced a 77.4% increase in revenue and an 86.1% increase in traffic on Black Friday. Cyber Monday continued to be a traditionally strong eCommerce day with a 19% year over year increase in revenue this year and a solid 43.6% increase in traffic.
