MarketTools Appoints John Ouren Executive Vice President and General Manager of Zoom Businesses

Sales and Marketing Industry Expert to Help Accelerate Innovation and Growth

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - October 16, 2007) - MarketTools, Inc. today announced that John Ouren has joined the company as executive vice president and general manager of MarketTools' Zoom Businesses. In this position, Ouren will lead a team dedicated to driving the continued momentum for MarketTools key online offerings including: Zoomerang™, the leading provider for fast feedback; ZoomPanel™, the company's proprietary online global sample source; and Insight Networks™, an integrated solution for capturing authentic insights through Web communities.

Ouren brings extensive sales and marketing experience with leading technology and services companies to his new role at MarketTools. Previously, Ouren served as president of Goodmail Systems, an innovator in certified email, where he was responsible for managing the company's sales, business development and strategic alliances. Prior to joining Goodmail, Ouren was senior vice president of worldwide sales, services and field operations at Digital Impact, a leading provider of email marketing technology and services acquired by Acxiom Corporation. Before Digital Impact, Ouren was both a founding member of the e-commerce practice and leader in the financial services practice at McKinsey & Company where he provided strategic and operating expertise to leading software companies and financial services firms worldwide.

Ouren holds an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
