MarketTools Appoints Mark Frost as Head of Products and Technology and SaaS Business Unit

High-Technology and Business Operations Veteran to Lead Software Products Division, Poise Company for Continued Growth in 2008

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - January 23, 2008) - MarketTools, Inc. today announced that Mark Frost has joined the company as executive vice president and general manager of products and technology. In this role, Frost will oversee MarketTools' Software as a Service (SaaS) business unit, leading the strategic direction and development of the company's market-dominant software products division, as well as providing technology and product support for all MarketTools' solutions.

About Mark Frost

Prior to joining MarketTools, Frost served as the chief operating officer of Saba Software, Inc. where he provided strategic and tactical leadership that helped drive Saba from $42 million to more than $100 million in annual revenue in 24 months. Before Saba, he served as the group vice president and general manager of the Human Capital Management product division at PeopleSoft, where he provided leadership that drove a 20 percent increase in PeopleSoft HCM license revenue within a 12-month timeframe. Frost has also served as vice president and general manager of product operations at Documentum, where he helped the company to establish and maintain market leadership, as well as in executive roles at ObjectStream, Neovista, Envirotest and Systems Control. Additionally, he has held management positions at EDS and General Electric.

Frost holds a BA in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
