Marriott International and Global Travel International Form New Partnership

ORLANDO, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 12, 2006 -- Global Travel International, Inc. (GTI) and globaltravel.com have announced a new relationship with Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE: MAR) after several months of discussions and negotiations between the two.

"GTI has delivered on the vision and promise they first presented to us," said Fred Miller, CTC and vice president for Global Sales for Marriott International. "We are extremely pleased with the results of their new business model and look forward to a long and mutually profitable relationship," added Mr. Miller.

Michael Gross, President and CEO of GTI and globaltravel.com, said, "Fortunately, as a result of our planned enhancements, we've been able to align ourselves fairly well with Marriott and their stringent standards to really see an opportunity for our agents to increase their commissions with the Marriott brand. We made program changes to give our agents a career path that includes increased earnings, greater access to marketing, training and support services and advanced technology that really pushes our preferred suppliers," added Gross.

Earlier this year GTI set out to develop a preferred supplier program to really focus its independent travel agents on select brands. "Late in 2005, we began testing a supplier blitz program through a fully integrated marketing campaign to see just how much share our agents would shift. We were blown away by the results," said Gross. GTI intends to use this marketing model to support its new preferred supplier program.

GTI is planning to introduce its preferred suppliers at Travelpalooza™, its annual independent travel agent conference being held in Las Vegas, December 3rd-5th at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.
