LA's Most Exciting Culinary Event Kicks Off With Over 140 Participating Restaurants

Los Angeles-area restaurants are gearing up for the opening day of dineLA Restaurant Week on January 27, 2008. To mark the launch of what is expected to become one of LA's most anticipated culinary events, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa will speak at a press conference at 10:00a.m. on Tuesday, January 22, at LA's critically acclaimed Grace Restaurant, 7360 Beverly Blvd.

dineLA Restaurant Week has over 140 restaurants participating throughout the Los Angeles area, from Downtown to the Westside, Long Beach to Woodland Hills and beyond.

The official dineLA Restaurant Week Web site,, lists participating restaurants offering prix-fixe lunches for $15 or $22 and dinners for $25 or $34, exclusive of beverages, tax and gratuity. The Special three-course menus will showcase some of LA's most talented chefs who personalize each menu to reflect their culinary style and highlight locally grown, seasonal ingredients. The dineLA Restaurant Week restaurant list, searchable by cuisine and location, not only includes a wide variety of Zagat rated restaurants, but also features 30 restaurants highlighted in the prestigious Michelin Los Angeles 2008 guide, including Patina, which received a coveted Michelin star.
