MediCorp Selects Patient Care Technology Systems' Emergency Department Information System for Stafford Hospital Center

MISSION VIEJO, CA--(Marketwire - May 1, 2008) - Patient Care Technology Systems (PCTS), a subsidiary of Consulier Engineering, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSLR), today announced that MediCorp Health System has selected the company's Amelior ED™ system for emergency department patient tracking and documentation as part of MediCorp's expansion of emergency care services in Northern Virginia. The system will be implemented in the emergency department of the 100 bed Stafford Hospital Center currently under construction in Stafford, Virginia and at a new stand-alone emergency department in Spotsylvania. The Stafford Hospital Center is scheduled to open in 2009. The Amelior ED system has been in use at MediCorp's flagship facility, Mary Washington Hospital, since 2002.

The Amelior ED system provides triage-to-disposition workflow automation support through its integration of computer-based modules for patient and asset tracking, nurse and physician charting, computerized provider order entry, clinical decision support, prescription writing, disposition management and reporting. The system organizes all information for a patient's emergency department visit, including laboratory and radiology orders and results, within a single electronic medical record.

Mary Washington Hospital has used the Amelior ED system to manage patient flow in its emergency department since 2002. During this time the department has seen significant growth in patient visits and received more than 100,000 patient visits in 2007 making it one of the busiest in the nation. In its initial year since deploying Amelior ED, emergency department expenses for transcription services were reduced by over half a million dollars as a result of more than a 90% decrease in dictation usage.

"PCTS is continually bringing new innovative ideas and technology to health care. We are now in our 7th year partnering with PCTS and the Amelior ED system has virtually eliminated dictation in our flagship facility at Mary Washington Hospital," said Jody Crane MD, MBA, emergency physician and business manager of the Fredericksburg Emergency Medical Alliance. "With the size of our facility and volume of over 100,000 visits we need a completely integrated, reliable EDIS that is able to adapt to our ongoing needs and PCTS is able to deliver. We anticipate additional benefits in our Stafford facility including enterprise-wide data mining and continuity of emergency care with our existing facility and a new freestanding emergency department that we will be opening."

Amelior ED is the only EDIS with the option of a native automatic patient and asset tracking module. Using an interface to a real-time location system, caregivers are continuously updated on the location and care status of their patients and resources without requiring manual data entry. Earlier this year, PCTS announced that the Amelior ED system has been used by its customers to support over one million emergency department patient visits to date.

"We are proud to support MediCorp's continued growth in emergency care services," said Tony Marsico, CEO of PCTS. "As emergency departments continue to face rising patient census levels, our intelligent workflow automation systems for tracking and documenting patient care provide staff with complete and up-to-the-minute information to maximize department efficiency."
