Media Advisory/CSA: Tremblant Beneath the Stars

Come and Admire the Splendour and Magnitude of a Starry Sky

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Aug. 5, 2008) - The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) is inviting the public to take part in several educational and family activities as part of the Tremblant Beneath the Stars and Perseids event. Due to its summertime appearance, the Perseids tend to provide the majority of meteors to be seen by non-astronomy enthusiasts.

Media representatives are invited to meet with CSA experts who will be on hand following their presentations. Alain Berinstain, Director, Planetary Exploration and Space Astronomy, CSA, will present the latest revelations of the Phoenix module, which landed on Mars on May 25, 2008.
