Media Advisory: Canada's Taxpayers' Ombudsman Speaking at the H&R Block Annual Conference in Quebec City

QUÉBEC CITY, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - June 16, 2010) - Canada's Taxpayers' Ombudsman, Mr. J. Paul Dubé, is speaking at H&R Block's National Conference at the Fairmont Château Frontenac in Québec City on June 17, 2010.

Mr. Dubé's role is to promote respect for the Taxpayer Bill of Rights and to see that taxpayers get professional service and fair treatment from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

This event helps him raise awareness of his office and consult on issues taxpayers face in their dealings with the CRA. It also gives Mr. Dubé an opportunity to hear comments that could help identify current or emerging service-related issues within the CRA that may have a negative impact on Canadian taxpayers.

Mr. Dubé will be available to meet the media after the event on:

Date: Thursday, June 17, 2010

Time: 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. by appointment

Location: Fairmont Château Frontenac, 1 Carrière Street, Québec
(In the hallway, outside Jacques Cartier Room)

Format: One-on-one interviews with Paul Dubé
