Media Advisory: Canadian Forces Artists Program Exhibit

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 7, 2007) - Artwork created through the Canadian Forces Artists Program will be on display in the National Defence Headquarters on Friday, November 9, 2007.

Artists will be on location throughout the day to meet the media and speak about their experience with the Canadian Forces Artist Program (CFAP) and their art. Forty works of art created from 2003-2005 will be on display.



WHEN: Friday, November 9, 2007

TIME: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
A presentation will be held at 9:30 a.m.

WHERE: National Defence Headquarters Concourse (main corridor)
101 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa


Members of the media who plan to attend should contact Jonathan Juteau, Public Affairs Advisor at (613) 299-9537 or 2Lt Julie Brunet at (613) 943-6145 no later than 4:00 p.m. Thursday, 8 November to RSVP. Media are to bring agency identification and will be escorted while in the building. The Chief of the Defence Staff, General Rick Hillier, will meet the artists in the morning but will not participate in the formal program.
