Media Advisory: Canadian Forces to Bring Grey Cup to Toronto

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 14, 2007) - As part of the 2007 Grey Cup festivities, the Canadian Forces (CF) have the honour of transporting the Grey Cup from Hamilton to Toronto. There are several opportunities available for the media to cover this historical event:

Media Opportunities:

- The air force will transport the Grey Cup from Hamilton Airport to Toronto's Island Airport.

- The navy will bring the Grey Cup from Toronto's Island Airport to HMCS York.

- The army will bring the Grey Cup from HMCS York to Toronto City Hall, and present the cup to the Mayor of Toronto.

What the Media will see:

- CH-146 Griffon Helicopters (Hamilton to Toronto Island Airport)

- Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (Toronto Island Airport to HMCS York)

- A Bison Armoured Personnel Carrier; a Coyote Armoured Reconnaissance Vehicle, and G-Wagon 4x4 vehicles (HMCS York to Toronto City Hall).
