Media Advisory: Canadians Have Opportunity to Make a Difference in Agriculture and Agri-Food Policy

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 29, 2007) - Agriculture and Agri-food Canada would like to invite Canadians to participate in national public consultations on the next generation of agriculture and agri-food policy. Through these public consultations in January and February 2007, Canadians will have the opportunity to provide input and advice on how to best ensure a competitive and profitable agriculture sector for years to come.

In Saskatchewan, full day public consultations on the next generation of agriculture and agri-food policy will be hosted from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (local time) in the following communities:
