Media Advisory-Earth Day Celebration-Saturday, April 22-Toronto Hydro Coordinates Major Tree Planting at Taylor Massey Creek Photo and Interview Opportunity

What: Third annual tree planting - approximately 300 native trees and
shrubs will be planted in Taylor Massey Creek.

In addition to new plantings, the team will be taking part in the
maintenance of last year's planting and cleaning the surrounding
area of garbage and debris in support of Mayor Miller's 20-minute
Makeover.

Why: Since 2004, Toronto Hydro and its neighbours have been supporting
the vision of a revitalized Taylor Massey Creek, as championed by
the community-based Taylor Massey Project, viewable at
www.TheTMP.org. The 2006 event will bring the number of trees and
shrubs planted by these local companies in the last three years
to more than 850, with much of the stock provided by the City of
Toronto, in an effort to help restore the natural habitat along
the Creek.

Who: Close to 200 employees, friends and family of Toronto Hydro
Corporation, Underwriters' Laboratories of Canada (ULC), Cadbury
Schweppes, City of Toronto, LEAF (Local Enhancement &
Appreciation of Forests) and The Taylor Massey Project (TMP).

When: Saturday, April 22, 2006
10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Taylor Massey Creek
