In the face of the impending closure of the City Centre Airport beginning with runway 16/34 on July 31, recent independent research conducted by Environics Research shows that 75 percent of Edmontonians are still not convinced closing the airport is a viable option.

So why is it closing? Envision Edmonton is asking the same question.

In the Mayor's State of the City Address, he challenged Edmontonians to "tell us your vision [for the City Centre Airport]… explain what you know better, what you see for the future and why we have to listen". Join us on Wednesday June 16th to see what Envision Edmonton has to say in response to this challenge.
