Media Advisory: First-Ever Interment of Allied Personnel at Canada's National Military Cemetery

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 27, 2007) - A Royal Air Force (RAF) couple will be buried together at the National Military Cemetery on Saturday, 29 September 2007 at 11:00 a.m., marking a turning point in the evolution of the Cemetery. British Embassy Military Attache, RAF Squadron Leader Anthony Mountain, will be in attendance.

WHEN: Saturday, 29 September 2007

TIME: 11:00 a.m. Media should arrive no later than 10:45 a.m.

WHERE: National Military Cemetery (within Beechwood Cemetery)
